Creekside had a special visitor in our STEAM classroom last week! Mr. Jimmy Gilliam, President of the Limestone County Cattlemen’s Association, read a story to our students while teaching them about the beef cattle industry and its importance to agriculture.
A huge thank you to Mr. Gilliam for sharing his time and knowledge with our students and generously donating the book to our classroom! We appreciate our community partners who help bring learning to life!🐄📖

Creekside Beta Club is hosting a coat drive to benefit the Athens Family Resource Center now through November 20th!
Students are encouraged to donate new or gently used coats and jackets in sizes newborn through youth XL. Donation boxes will be located in both offices.

🏀East Limestone Youth Basketball Camp🏀
@easthoops will host its 4th Annual Youth Basketball Camp on Saturday, November 7, at Jimmy Drake Gymnasium. The camp is open to boys and girls in 1st–6th grades.
The cost is $40 per player, which includes a camp shirt. Campers can wear their shirts to receive FREE admission to the November 13 home varsity basketball game.
Registration forms will be sent home with students soon. Please reach out to Coach Moran with any questions you may have.

We kicked it off with our Boosterthon Fun Run and House Reveals, then jumped right into Book Fair, Grandparents Week, and Homecoming before wrapping it up this week with our PTO Fall Festival.
It’s hard to believe the first quarter of the school year is already coming to a close. We’re thankful for all the memories made and hope you have a joyous Fall Break!
